Having just returned from a wonderful family trip, we needed to find a way to share our photos while making it easy to distribute them to our friends. Being an open source promotor, unwilling to share photos with GAFAMs and having a web hosting, Piwigo was the perfect solution! Modular as you like, easy to use... Needless to say, for the next trip of this type I already know how we'll share the photos :-).

Piwigo is most easiest online photo gallery and lot's of features available. With amazing user interface and user level access is what i been searching and its the most suitable for my needs. Piwigo is easy to install and maintain and with lots of plugins to customize for a gallery needs. The mobile site are great and easy to navigate. Good Job Piwigo Team! Keep on going!

I like to publish my photos and I started 2013 using koken. koken is no longer maintained, I made my change to Piwigo in 2020 as it offers a lot of possibilities and a good support based on the community behind. Piwigo's history was enough reason to expect a system with ongoing maintenance and development different to koken. A system which is open and free is in my view a choice which can last for a long time.

We use Piwigo to share and access our photos from all our information centres, without having to overload our dropbox. It is useful and easy to use.
